ABOUT TAKAMORI

Born 21 August in Chesterfield, Missouri, United States, Shiho Takamori is an up-and-coming musical artist. She plays violin and viola as her primary instruments, but she also sings and plays guitar, recorder, and piano. She is also a composer, arranger, and avid Nintendo gamer.

At the age of five, Takamori began guitar lessons. She shifted her focus to the violin during the summer break between the third and fourth grades.

At the age of nine, Takamori began composing and arranging. She specializes in string instrumentation and arrangement of video game music.

In the eighth grade, Takamori was the highest-ranked string musician in her middle school,  being the concertmistress in the school's eighth grade concert orchestra.

Currently, Takamori is studying data analytics and Japanese at Webster University and is a member of the viola section in the community college orchestra.

  • Descendant of US presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams

  • Placed eighth in her middle school spelling bee during her seventh-grade year

  • Graduated from Parkway West High School with GPA 3.988 (with Magna Cum Laude, Thespian, and Mu Alpha Theta honors)
